CENTRAL GAUL. Aedui. 50-30 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 13 mm, 1.46 g, 3 h), 'au guerrier debout' type. DVBNOC[OV] Celticized male head to right, volute (or vine?) behind. Rev. [DVBNOREIX] Warrior standing facing, holding boar and carnyx with his right hand and severed head in his left. DT 3213. LT 5044. Scheers, Lyon, 346. Very rare and unusually well preserved, with an interesting reverse. Struck on the usual somewhat short flan, otherwise, very fine.
