NORTHWEST GAUL. Coriosolites. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Billon, 25 mm, 6.84 g, 10 h), 'au nez Orné' type. Celticized male head to right, hair ending in curls; before, volute. Rev. Devolved charioteer, driving a cart drawn by a centaur to right; below, lyre. DT 2334. LT -. Beautifully toned and unusually well struck. The reverse somewhat off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
