Description

Divus Maximianus, died 310. Half Follis (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.00 g, 6 h), Rome, 317-318. DIVO MAXIMIANO SEN FORT IMP Laureate and veiled head of Divus Maximianus to right. Rev. MEMORIAE AETERNAE / R Q Eagle standing front, wings spread and head turned to left. RIC 110. Unusually well preserved for this difficult issue. Slightly smoothed and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, extremely fine.
