Maximinus I, 235-238. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 30 mm, 18.31 g, 12 h), Rome, 235-236. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus I to right. Rev. PAX AVGVSTI / S - C Pax standing front, head to left, holding branch in her upraised right hand and scepter transversely in her left. BMC 7. Cohen 34. RIC 58. Lovely green patina. Light roughness in areas and minor smoothing on the neck, otherwise, very fine.
