CYPRUS. Salamis. Evagoras I, circa 411-374 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 10.59 g, 11 h). [𐠁𐠄𐠲𐠍𐠦] ('e-u-wa-ko-ro' in Cypriot syllabic script) Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. 𐠞-𐠪𐠐𐠵-𐠩 ('pa-si-le-wo-se' in Cypriot syllabic script) He-goat with long horns and beard recumbent to right on dotted ground line; above, grain of barley; below to right, EY. Masson & Amandry II.B.a var. (differing reverse legend). Tziambazis 113 var. Zapiti & Michaelidou 6. Porous and with some very minor marks, otherwise, very fine.
