PHRYGIA. Laodicea ad Lycum. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Diassarion (Orichalcum, 25 mm, 10.93 g, 12 h), Zenon, son of Antonios Polemon and priest for the fourth time, circa 50-54 AD. ΔHMOΣ ΛAOΔIKEΩN Laureate head of Demos to right. Rev. EΠI IEPEΩΣ / ANTONIOY - ΠΟ YIOY / ZHNΩNOΣ TO Δ Zeus Laodiceus standing front, head to left, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left. Martin -, cf. 4a (with Demos and Boulé on the obverse). RPC I -, cf. 2912 (with Demos and Boulé on the obverse). Apparently unpublished. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
