★ A nicely toned hemidrachm from Pantikapaion ★
CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 370-355 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.03 g, 10 h). Head of a satyr facing slightly to the left, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit. Rev. ΠAN Facing lion's mask. MacDonald 44. SNG BM Black Sea 86. Nicely toned. Somewhat rough, otherwise, good very fine.
From a European collection, formed before 2005.
