Ammonios, Mamianos or Nahum, circa 550-650. Seal (Lead, 21 mm, 7.53 g, 12 h). Draped bust of Christ facing, wearing nimbus cruciger. Rev. Cruciform monogram of AMMIANOV, MAMIANOV or NAOVM. Unpublished in the standard references. A beautiful early Byzantine seal with a rare depiction of Christ. Very fine.
