SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 222-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.89 g, 12 h), a contemporary imitation from an eastern mint, circa 222-211. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow. Cf. SC 1154 (for possible prototype). Light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
