SICILY. Messana. Circa 420-413 BC. Litra (Silver, 13 mm, 0.67 g, 11 h). Hare springing right; below, cockle shell. Rev. MEΣ within laurel wreath. Caltabiano 579. HGC 2, 817. SNG Copenhagen 414-5. SNG Tübingen 609. Beautifully toned. Very minor roughness, otherwise, extremely fine.
