★ A very rare drachm of Ramik ★

KHWARAZMIA. King Ramik, late 6th century. Drachm (Silver, 29 mm, 5.73 g, 11 h). Draped bust of Ramik to right with a large beaded necklace, wearing Khwarazmian royal head-dress. Rev. ‘MRʾY MLKʾ rmyk’ (‘βēndak šāh Ramīk’ = ‘Lord [and] King Ramik’ in Khwarazmian) King on horseback to right; Khwarazmian tamgha to left. Vainberg Type Г I. Zeno-199473 ( this coin ). Very rare. Areas of weakness, otherwise, good fine.
