SRI LANKA (CEYLON), Native coinages. Period of the Chola Invasion. Circa 990-1070. Aka – 1/8 Kahavanu (Electrum, 10 mm, 0.52 g, 11 h). King standing facing, head to right, holding rosebud or lotus in his left hand; in field to right, lighted altar. Rev. 'Daraka Nandaka Uraka' (in Nagari). Mitchiner 828/30. Very fine.
