ISLAMIC, Mongols. Chaghatayid Khans. temp. Qaidu, AH 668-700 / AD 1270-1301. Dirham (Silver, 22 mm, 1.86 g), Kenjde. Within a circle, Qaidu’s tamgha with ornate patterns around; illegible marginal legend. Rev. Within a central square, Qaidu’s tamgha; above and beneath, ‘sikka – Kinjda’ (‘The coin of Kenjde’ in Arabic); illegible marginal legend. Album 1985 (temp. Tuqa Timur, circa AH 670-690 / AD 1272-1291). Zeno 49404. Rare. Areas of weakness and with some deposits, otherwise, fine.
