Ousanas I, circa 325-345. Argyros (Silver, 12 mm, 0.60 g, 12 h). ΑξⲰΜ-ΙΤⲰነ Draped bust of Ousanas I to right, wearing tight-fitting head cloth and circular earring; above, pellet in crescent. Rev. ΟΥCΑNAC BACIΛЄΥC Draped bust of Ousanas I to right, wearing tight-fitting head cloth and circular earring, within shallow round incuse within circular border; above, pellet in crescent flanked by two pellets. Hahn, Aksumite, 14b. Hahn & Keck, MAKS, 18b and p. 251, 165 ( this coin ). Munro-Hay, AC, type 28. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
