Aristenos, 13th century. Seal (Lead, 33 mm, 26.86 g, 12 h). O / A/ΓI/OC - ΓE ⲰP ΓI/O/C Saint George standing facing, nimbate, holding spear in his right hand and resting his left on shield. Rev. ΓЄN૪ AΘΛH/TA TⲰN ΓPAΦON / T૪ API CTHN ૪ CTH/ PIΓM A KAI T/ⲰN ΠPAKTЄ/ⲰN ('Martyr, become the help for the documents and acts of Aristenos') in six lines. Apparently unpublished. Scrape on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
