CILICIA. Colybrassus. Severus Alexander, 222-235. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 30 mm, 15.00 g, 12 h). ΑΥ•Κ•ΑΥ•[ϹЄΥ] ΑΛЄΞΑΝΔΡΟϹ•ϹЄ• Laureate and draped bust of Severus Alexander to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΚΟΛΥΒΡΑϹϹЄΩΝ Athena standing front, head to right, holding patera in her right hand and transverse spear in her left. RPC VI online 6240.2 ( this coin ). SNG Levante 330 ( this coin ). SNG Paris -. Of the highest rarity, the better of only two known examples. With an unusual portrait of curious local style. Slightly rough and the obverse struck a bit off center, otherwise, good very fine.
