TROAS. Gargara. 5th century BC. Obol (Silver, 7 mm, 0.55 g, 1 h). ΓΑΡ Female head to left, wearing helmet or close fitting cap. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. CNG E-Auction 529 (2022), 162 ( same dies ). SNG Arikantürk 479–81 var. (position of ethnic). Very rare and exceptionally well preserved, with a lovely female head struck in high relief. About extremely fine.
