AKARNANIA. Leukas. Circa 320-280 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.44 g, 10 h). Λ Pegasus flying left. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind neck guard, forepart of a griffin flying left. BCD Akarnania 266. Calciati 117. Lightly toned and of fine style, with a beautiful reverse symbol. Struck slightly off center and with some doubling, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
