EPEIROS. Ambrakia. Circa 404-360 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.15 g, 5 h). Pegasos flying left; below, A. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind neck guard, uncertain symbol and A. BCD Akarnania -. Calciati -. Hirsch 338 (2018), 296. Extremely rare and interesting. Slightly porous and struck from a somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.
