Description
KINGS OF PAEONIA. Patraos, circa 335-315 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 12.88 g, 8 h), Astibos or Damastion. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. Π[ΑΤ]ΡA[OY] Paeonian horseman, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping right and spearing fallen enemy. Paeonian Hoard 445. Peykov E2160. Struck from the usual somewhat worn dies and with a flan crack, otherwise, good very fine.
