Description
KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 8.60 g, 1 h), Pella, struck under Kassander, circa 317/6-315/4. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Charioteer driving biga to right, holding reins in his left hand and goad in his right; below horses, kantharos and M. Le Rider 569 (D200/R414). Very light die rust on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
