THRACE. Maroneia. Circa 240/39-200 BC. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.71 g, 11 h), Pythonikos, magistrate. Head of youthful Dionysos with long hair to right, wearing wreath of ivy. Rev. ΕΠΙ ΠΥΘΟΝΙΚΟΥ MAPΩNITΩN Bunch of grapes on a stalk with two tendrils and vine leaves within linear circle; all within shallow round incuse. HGC 3.2 -, cf. 1543 (differing reverse). Schönert-Geiss -, cf. 944-50 (differing reverse). Apparently unpublished. Minor delaminations, otherwise, very fine.
