ISLAMIC, Anatolia & al-Jazira (Post-Seljuk). Danishmendids (Sivas). Amir Ghazi, AH 497-528 / AD 1104-1134. Dirham (Bronze, 21 mm, 3.16 g, 7 h). ‘ΓΑΖΙ / TΟ ΤΑ[Ν/ΙΣ]ΜΑ[Ν/Τω]’ (‘Lord! Help Amir Ghazi, the Danishmend’ in Greek). Rev. Legend in three lines continued on the reverse, ‘[Κ]ΥΡΙΕ / [Β]ωΗΘΗ / [Α]ΜΗ[Ρ]’. Album 1237A. Extremely rare. Areas of weakness and with some deposits, otherwise, very fine.
