PONTOS. Amisos. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 85-65 BC. AE (Bronze, 22 mm, 8.68 g, 11 h). Head of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit. Rev. ΑΜΙΣΟΥ Panther skin and thyrsos on cista mystica; to upper left, monogram. HGC 7, 243. SNG BM Black Sea 1202-4. SNG Stancomb 697. Very minor roughness, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
