Shiʿa kalima in a hexafoil, ‘Allāh / lā ilāha illā / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / ʿAlī walī Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Ali is the friend of Allah’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammad’ (‘O Allah! Bless Muhammad’ in Arabic), followed by the names of the twelve Shiʿa imams. Rev. Within a heptafoil, ‘ḍuriba / fī dawla al-mawlā al-sulṭān / al-aʿẓam mālik riqāb / al-umam ghiyāth al-dunyā wa al-dīn / Ūljāytū Sulṭān Muḥammad / khallada Allāh Mulkahū’ (‘Struck in the state of the Lord, the Supreme Sultan, Owner of the Necks of the Peoples, Helper of the World and the Religion, Uljaytu Sultan Muhammad.
