ISLAMIC, Seljuks. Rum. Ghiyath al-Din Mas'ud II, first reign, AH 679-697 / AD 1280-1298. Fals (Bronze, 22 mm, 2.00 g). Horseman to right, shooting an arrow. Rev. Within a hexagon, ‘al-sulṭān / al-aʿẓam / Ghiyāth’ (‘The supreme sultan, Ghiyath’ in Arabic). Album A1235. Extremely rare. Some earthen deposits, otherwise, very fine.
