SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Macrinus, 217-218. Assarion (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.30 g, 11 h). [AYT KAI] M O CЄ MAKPINOC CЄ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Macrinus to right. Rev. Large S C within wreath; above and below, Δ / Є; star atop. McAlee 725. A beautiful piece with wonderful earthen highlights. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
