★ An extremely rare bronze from Iolla ★

MYSIA. Iolla. 4th-3rd century BC. AE (Bronze, 13 mm, 3.74 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested and laureate Attic helmet. Rev. ΙΟΛΛΕΩΝ Owl with closed wings standing right, head facing. A few spots of corrosion on the obverse and with light cleaning scratches on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
