Draped bust of Kavadh I to right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent, ribbons and crescents on shoulders; to left, star; before head, six pellets. Rev. Fire altar, flanked by two attendants; above altar, star and crescent; to left, date in Pahlavi; to right, ‘gd’ (Gay in Pahlavi). Göbl type II/1. SNS III/2, type Ic/1a. Areas of die rust and with some corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
