LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 521-478 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 9 mm, 2.49 g, 6 h). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. Incuse head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress; small incuse square behind neck. Bodenstedt 19.1. SNG Copenhagen -. SNG von Aulock 1691. A well centered and bold example. Thin flan crack, otherwise, about very fine.
