Description

GERMANY. Ulm (Königliche Münzstätte). Friedrich II, 1215-1250. Bracteate (Silver, 21 mm, 0.37 g). Crowned king's head between flowering branch and tower. Rev. Incuse of obverse. CC 136. Berger 2598. Lebek (Lindau) 21. Sharply struck and lightly toned. Minor crack on the reverse. Extremely fine.

From the collection of Dr. Max Blaschegg (1930-2021, with collector’s ticket), Leu Web Auction 22, 20 August 2022, 1604, previously acquired from Hirsch on 10 March 1987.
