BRITISH, Hanover. Victoria, 1837-1901. 'Model Crown' 1848 (Silvered and Gilt Bronze, 27 mm, 6.83 g, 12 h). Victoria Queen of Great Britain / MDCCXLDIII Crowned and draped bust of Victoria to left in gilt medallion within wreath. Rev. Model Crown / PUB: BY - H. HYAMS Crowned cruciform coats of arms around central Union shield; thistle or clover and rose in alternating angles; all in gilt medallion within collar. Mitchiner, Jetons 6772-4. Good very fine.
