ISLAMIC, Mongols. Golden Horde. Batu, AH 624-654 / AD 1227-1256. Dinar (Silver, 19 mm, 1.49 g, 6 h), Bulghar, no date. Citing the deceased caliph as ‘al-Nāṣir li-d/īn Allāh Amīr / al-Muʾminīn’ (‘al-Nasir li-dīn Allāh, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic). Rev. ‘al-dīnār / al-ḍarb Bu/ʾlghār’ (‘Dinar, struck at Bulghar’ in Arabic). Album N2018. Very rare. Areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
