ISLAMIC, Persia (Post-Seljuk). Khwarizm Shahs. 'Ala al-Din Muhammad II, AH 596-617 / AD 1200-1220. Dinar (Gold, 25 mm, 3.24 g, 9 h), mint and date off flan. Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225). Rev. Citing Muhammad’s full titulature as 'al-Sultan al-Aʿzam ʿala al-Dunya waʾl-Din Abuʾl-fath Muhammad ibn al-Sultan Takish' (in Arabic). Album 1712. The flan bent and straigthened and with some areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
