ISLAMIC, al-Maghreb (North Africa). Idrisids. Idris II, AH 175-213 / AD 791-828. Dirham (Silver, 23 mm, 2.07 g, 5 h), mint illegible, AH 210 = AD 825/6. Small crescent between the second and third line of the Kalima and 'Ali' (in Kufic) below. Rev. In inner field, palm next to 'Ali' (in Kufic); below the Kalima in the inner field, 'Idris' (in Kufic). Album 421. Some areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
