Leon, kandidatos and ek prosopou of Antioch, 11th century. Seal (Lead, 32 mm, 15.80 g, 12 h). MHP - ΘV The Mother of God 'Hodegetria', nimbate, wearing chiton and maphorion, pointing with her right hand towards Infant Christ seated on her left arm. Rev. +Θ[KЄ] R,[Θ,] / ΛЄⲰN K[ANΔ,]/ΔAT S ЄK A/CⲰΠ૪ ANT,/OXЄIAC in five lines. Unpublished in the standard references. Some surface roughness and cracks, otherwise, very fine.
