Solidus (Gold, 22 mm, 4.45 g, 8 h), Constantinopolis, 607-609. δ N FOCAS PERP AVC Draped and cuirassed bust of Phocas facing, wearing crown surmounted by cross and holding globus cruciger in his right hand. Rev. VICTORIA AVGЧ I / CONOB Angel standing facing, holding long linear staff surmounted by staurogram in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. DOC 10j 1-5. MIBE 9. SB 620. Scratch on the reverse and light traces of mounting, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
