Solidus (Gold, 20 mm, 4.38 g, 6 h), Carthage, RY 6 = 579/80. δ m TIb CONSTANT P P AVG Draped and cuirassed bust of Tiberius II Constantine facing, wearing crown surmounted by a small cross and with pendilia, holding globus cruciger in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman, over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTORIA AVGG S / CONOB Jewelled cross potent set on four steps. DOC 58b. MIBE 13. SB 462. Slightly clipped and with light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
