Magnus Maximus, 383-388. Siliqua (Silver, 18 mm, 1.90 g, 12 h), Treveri. D N MAG MAX-IMVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnus Maximus to right. Rev. VIRTVS RO-MANORVM / TRPS Roma seated facing on throne, head to left, holding globe in her right hand and scepter in her left. RIC 84b. Slightly rough on the obverse and the reverse struck from a somewhat worn die, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

From a Swiss collection in Ticino, formed over the past 25 years.
