Caracalla, 198-217. Antoninianus (Silver, 24 mm, 5.14 g, 6 h), Rome, 215. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P XVIII COS IIII P P Serapis standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding scepter in his left. BMC 131. Cohen 295. RIC 263e. Sharp and with a beautiful portrait. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, about extremely fine.
