★ Apparently unique with this impressive bust type ★

Marcus Aurelius, as Caesar, 139-161. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.11 g, 6 h), Rome, 148-149. AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, seen from behind. Rev. TR POT III COS II Minerva standing front, head to right, holding spear in her right hand and resting her left hand on shield set on ground. BMC 683 var. (differing bust). Cohen 618 var. (differing bust). RIC 444 var. (differing bust). Apparently unique with this impressive bust type. A few minor deposits and with a scrape across Marcus' cheek, otherwise, extremely fine.
