Description

Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.11 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 126-127. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. COS III Annona (or Abundantia) seated left, holding reaping hook in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; at feet to left, modius with grain ears; below, pellet. BMC 387. Cohen 379. RIC 855. Rough and porous and with a few nicks, otherwise, good very fine.
