Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.23 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the East, circa 124-127. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Bare-headed and draped bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. COS III Aequitas-Moneta standing front, head to left and wearing polos, holding scales in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC -. RIC pl. 50, 2988 ( this coin ). Strack 12 var. Extremely rare. Nicely toned and with a fine portrait of attractive eastern style. Struck slightly off center and with minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
