Hadrian, 117-138. Cistophorus (Silver, 30 mm, 10.30 g, 7 h), uncertain mint D in Asia Minor. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. COS III Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and thyrsos in his left; at feet to left, panther seated left. Metcalf -. RPC III online 1450B.1 ( this coin ). Apparently unique. Minor traces of overstriking, otherwise, very fine.
