Hadrian, 117-138. Cistophorus (Silver, 27 mm, 11.11 g, 6 h), Cnidus. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. COS III Jupiter seated right, holding short scepter in his left hand and Victory on globe in his right. Metcalf 72. RPC III online 1368.3 ( this coin ). Extremely rare. Light scratches and traces of overstriking and with minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.
