SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 14.77 g, 12 h), CY 27 and COS XII = 5/4 BC. ΚΑΙΣΑΡΟΣ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΥ Laureate head of Augustus to right. Rev. ΕΤΟΥΣ ΖK ΝΙΚΗΣ / IB Tyche seated right on rocks, holding palm frond in her right hand; below, half-length figure of river god Orontes swimming right; in field above, two monograms. McAlee 181. Prieur 51. RPC I 4152. Harshly cleaned and somewhat porous, otherwise, good very fine.
