HUNNIC TRIBES, Alchon Huns. Uncertain king, circa 450-500. Drachm (Silver, 24 mm, 3.59 g, 6 h), anonymous eastern Alchon. Bust of King with elongated skull and moustache to right, wearing diadem with crescent at the front and two ribbons; behind, flywhisk; before, trident. Rev. Traces of fire altar. Göbl 139. Vondrovec, Type 139. Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
