'BAΓO OAPAYPANO O-OOZOPKO KOÞANO ÞAYO ('His Majesty, Bahram, Great King of the Kushan' in Baktrian) Bahram standing front, head to left, wearing a crenellated crown with a globe on top between two broad horizontally-pleated ribbons, sacrificing with his right hand over lighted altar and holding trident in his left hand; to left, trident above small altar; to right, tamgha. Rev. 'BORZAOANDO IAZADO' ('The illustrious God' in Baktrian) The illustrious God (Shiva) standing facing with flaming hair, holding diadem in his right hand and trident in his left; behind, the bull Nandi, his companion, standing left.
