INDIA, Yaudheya. Circa 3rd-4th century. AE (Bronze, 24 mm, 11.15 g, 12 h). YAUDHEYA GANASA JAYA (in Brahmi) Karttikeya standing facing, holding spear in his right hand; at his feet, rooster standing right. Rev. Devasena standing facing, head turned slightly to left, extending her right hand; in field to left, conch; in field to right, nandipada. Pieper 1126. Very fine.

From the collection of Prof. Dr. Björn-Uwe Abels, Leu Web Auction 25, 11 March 2023, 1433 and previously privately acquired from Alexander Fishman in 2018.
