CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 272-240 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 6.32 g, 9 h), Hageas and Poly..., magistrates. Nude youth riding horse walking to left, raising his right hand to crown the horse's head; above, cornucopiae; below, I-ΑΓΕΑΣ. Rev. [Τ]-ΑΡ[ΑΣ] Youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and trident in his left; to right, ΠΟΛΥ. HN Italy 1022. Vlasto 822. Nicely toned. Some roughness and with minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.
